Acupuncture
- All ear acupuncture with five needles in
each ear to reduce the appetite, balance the
endocrine system, increase metabolism, increase
the fullness sensation in the stomach, increase
urination and defecation. Recommended treatment is
two days a week for five weeks. Food will not have
much taste and you will have more energy to
exercise.
EFT (Emotional Freedom
Technique)
- This involves
tapping on select acupuncture ponts to release
energy blockages that perpetuate limiting
beliefs.
Diet
Restrictions
- The program
requires that you eat half of what you normally
eat, never eat the same thing two days in a row
(rotate your diet), no dairy products and no
alcohol. * Please note that if you are taking
prescription drugs, the effect of the treatment
may lose its potency.

Cleanse your system with a
special anti-fungal/anti-bacterial drink that also boosts the

Some form of exercise for at least
30 minutes every day is a must for this program.
The idea is to keep the metabolism at a high rate
while the desire for food diminishes. Without
exercise, the metabolism will readjust itself to
accommodate lower food intake.
Boosting
Your Metabolism Is The Key!
- One
key to burning more fat is to recharge your
metabolism. When you exercise, your metabolism not
only increases but it also stays elevated for a
period of time after you exercise. This is called
"calorie afterburn." You can maximize your
afterburn in several ways. One involves the length
of your exercise session. For example, after a
30-minute cardio session of a moderate intensity,
metabolism stays elevated for 130 minutes. After
45 minutes, metabolism stays high for 205 minutes.
And following 60 minutes of moderate cardio,
metabolism remains elevated for 455 minutes (over
seven hours). So, the longer you work out, the
greater your afterburn and your ability to burn
fat! The type of exercise you do affects the
caloirc afterburn as well. Some studies have shown
that strength training produces a greater caloric
afterburn than cardio. So the next time you go
walking, joggng, or running, carry some hand
weights to boost the afterburn!
